F**k Ups (Things I Got Wrong)
Based on data about higher rates of women turning out in early voting, I incorrectly predicted a femmwave backlash to the repeal of Roe V. Wade in a viral Threads post, and criticized pollsters who weren't seeing what I was seeing. I could not have been more wrong. Women who voted for Trump voted quite happily against their own bodily autonomy, and men who voted for Trump voted against women's basic rights, and my models and conversations didn't predict that would happen.
In a recent Threads post, I speculated that JD Vance would be replaced on the Trump Presidential ticket by RFK Jr. At the time, I made this prediction considering various political dynamics and emerging trends. It's clear that my analysis missed the mark. JD Vance remains a significant part of the ticket, and it appears RFK Jr. is charting a different path altogether.
In some of my social media posts, I mistakenly accused Samsung of copying Apple's Watch Ultra design. Other users made it clear that Samsung has been utilizing similar designs long before the Apple Watch Ultra debuted.
